As we approach Thanksgiving, my heart is filled with gratitude—for God’s unwavering faithfulness and for each one of you. In a world that often feels hurried, noisy, or uncertain, this season invites us to pause and remember that every good gift comes from the Lord (James 1:17).
Thanksgiving isn’t just a day on the calendar; it’s a posture of the heart. It’s the Spirit-given habit of seeing God’s hand at work in the ordinary, the everyday, the easily overlooked blessings that surround us. It’s giving thanks for family and friends, for daily bread, for meaningful work, for rest, and for the gift of our church community.
I am especially thankful for the ways God is working among us—through worship, fellowship, study of His Word, and acts of love and service in our congregation and community. Your prayers, support, and partnership in the Gospel are a blessing not only to me, but to countless others.
As you gather around tables this week—whether large or small, loud or quiet—may your hearts be filled with the peace of Christ. May your conversations be seasoned with grace. And may you be reminded of God’s abundant mercy, poured out in Jesus, our Savior, who is Himself the greatest gift we will ever receive.
From my family to yours: Happy Thanksgiving! May God bless your celebrations and keep you in His care.
With a thankful heart,
Pastor Hosch
