An Important Notification from Emmanuel Lutheran Church!
President Trump is asking Americans to avoid gathering in groups of more then ten people. In light of these new guidelines, we are canceling all worship services at Emmanuel Lutheran until further notice. This means all 3 Sunday worship services, Bible class, Sunday School, Lenten Services, Easter Sunday Breakfast, Lenten Potlucks, etc....have all been canceled until further notice. The sermons for each week will be emailed to our members. We will do our best to get this information out to others.
Please know that plans are being made to provide streaming online services for our Emmanuel worshiping community. Additional information will soon be provided on how you can participate online so that each of us can continue to be fed spiritually through God’s Word and by praying for one another.
We realize that not everyone has email and internet access. We would appreciate your help in letting others know as well. Also, we encourage our church members to mail their offerings to the church office. Our church will still need to pay our bills during this time.
Despite the world around us, we can have calmness and peace in the midst of uncertainty. God's Word assures us to not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6). God has promised to be with us, and we know His promises are true!
Coming Soon - The Youth Of Emmanuel
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Emmanuel Lutheran Church Of Maui. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
Emmanuel Lutheran Church and School believes that we have been “blessed to be a blessing” to others (Genesis 12). We believe God’s love is for all peoples and nations and so we exist to share it and be a blessing to our entire community. Our Mission is to help the people on Maui to Believe in Jesus Christ … and we seek to accomplish this by Loving, Educating, Sharing, and Serving them. The power to accomplish this mission comes only through God’s Word of Truth and the two sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper which Jesus Christ instituted to give His grace, strength, and forgiveness to all.
